SCS, in a joint venture with JE Dunn Construction, provided Preconstruction and Construction Management services for the New Statesville Road Elementary School for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. This project involved the construction of a 2-story, 39-classroom elementary school with a full-service kitchen, multipurpose dining/gymnasium, media center, and administrative wing. The sitework required the development of approximately 9.5 acres, as well as offsite improvements to an adjacent road. This project obtained LEED® Certification.

The JE Dunn | Sterling Joint Venture was an integral partner with the Design Team and Owner from the planning stage of this project.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) was being utilized throughout the duration of the project, starting with Preconstruction.
